Ibn Abbas was asked, "Do you know that during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and the first three years of Umar's rule, three pronouncements of divorce were treated as one?"Ibn Abbas replied, "Yes."

Muslim narrated it in his Sahih Muslim, chapter "Divorce, three divorces", hadith no. 1472, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq, with this wording, and it is also found in his Musannaf, hadith no. 11337.
