I had a sister who was being sought in marriage through me. A cousin of mine came to me, so I married her to him. Then he divorced her with a revocable divorce and left her until her waiting period had ended. When she was sought in marriage, he came to me asking for her hand again.I said, "No, by Allah, I will never marry her to you."He said, concerning me this verse was revealed, "And when you divorce women and they have fulfilled their term, do not prevent them from remarrying their husbands" [Baqarah 2:232].So I made expiation for my oath and married her to him.

كانت لي أخت تخطب إلي فأتاني ابن عم لي فأنكحتها إياه ثم طلقها طلاقا له رجعة ثم تركها حتى انقضت عدتها فلما خطبت إلي أتاني يخطبها فقلت لا والله لا أنكحها أبدا قال ففي نزلت هذه الآية {وإذا طلقتم النساء فبلغن أجلهن فلا تعضلوهن أن ينكحن أزواجهن} الآية قال فكفرت عن يميني فأنكحتها إياه
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tafsir, in the chapter "And when you divorce women and they reach their term..." etc, hadith no. 4529, from the hadith of Abu Amir through this route.
