We were with Umar bin Abdul-Aziz when we discussed the temporary marriage of women. A man named Rabi bin Sabra said to him, "I bear witness that my father reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade it during the Farewell Pilgrimage."
[Daif for its irregularity]. Ahmad reported it: 3/404, from the hadith of Abdul-Warith, with this wording. This is irregular, contradicting what the reliable narrators reported. The correct version is that he prohibited it in the Year of the Conquest, as reported by Muslim, Nikah, chapter on mutah marriage: 1406, and others. See the following hadith.
