I saw Saad bin Abu Waqqas seize a man who was hunting within the sanctuary of Madinah, which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had declared sacred, and he stripped him of his clothes. The man's masters came and spoke to Saad about him.Saad said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared this area a sanctuary and said, 'Whoever catches anyone hunting within it should strip him of his clothes.' I will not return to you a provision the Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted me, but if you wish, I will pay you its value."
