In this account, the Prophet ﷺ said, "Its grass is not to be cut, its game is not to be disturbed, and its lost property is not to be picked up except by one who will publicly announce it. It is not lawful for a man to carry weapons in it for fighting, nor is it lawful to cut down any of its trees, except that a man may feed his camel from them."
Its chain of transmission is daif. Bayhaqi (5/201) narrated it from the hadith of Abu Dawud, transmitted the same way, and the hadith has corroborating narrations. It also has another route in Nasai, numbers 2877 and 2895. Qatada narrated it with "an" (an indication of possible discontinuity in transmission).
