In this account he said, "Its fresh grass is not to be cut."

Bukhari also narrated it in "Recompense for Hunting," chapter "It is not permissible to fight in Makkah," hadith no. 1834, from Uthman bin Abu Shayba, and Muslim narrated it in "Hajj," chapter "The Sanctity of Makkah, the Prohibition of Hunting in It, Its Being Cleared, etc.," hadith no. 1353, from the hadith of Jareer bin Abdul-Hameed, with the same wording.
