The prayer of Isha was called, and a man stood up and said, "Messenger of Allah, I have a need." So he stood speaking with him privately until the people, or some of them, dozed off. Then he led them in prayer, and no mention was made of his performing ablution.

أقيمت صلاة العشاء فقام رجل فقال يا رسول الله إن لي حاجة فقام يناجيه حتى نعس القوم أو بعض القوم ثم صلى بهم ولم يذكر وضوءا
