I heard Abu Mijlaz say, "I asked Ibn Abbas about something concerning the throwing of the pebbles at the Jamarat."He replied, "I do not know whether the Messenger of Allah ﷺ threw six or seven."

سمعت أبا مجلز يقول سألت ابن عباس عن شيء من أمر الجمار قال ما أدري أرماها رسول الله ﷺ بست أو بسبع
[Its isnad is sahih] Nasai narrated it, Rites of Hajj, chapter on the number of pebbles with which the jamarat are thrown, no. 3080, from the hadith of Khalid bin Harith, through the same chain.
