The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drank some milk, then prayed without rinsing his mouth or performing ablution.Zayd said, "Shuba directed me to this elder."
حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة عن زيد بن الحباب عن مطيع بن راشد عن توبة العنبري أنه سمع
إن رسول الله ﷺ شرب لبنا فلم يمضمض ولم يتوضأ وصلى قال زيد دلني شعبة على هذا الشيخ
[Its isnad is hasan] Bayhaqi (1/160) narrated it from the hadith of Abu Dawud through him, and the Hafiz graded it hasan in Fath al-Bari (1/313).
