Someone reported to me that Asma threw the pebbles at the Jamrah. I said, "We threw the pebbles at the Jamrah while it was still night."She replied, "We used to do this during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

Sourcing, sahih. Nasai narrated it in the Book of Hajj Rites, Chapter on the Concession for the Weak to Pray the Dawn Prayer at Mina on the Day of Sacrifice, hadith no. 3053, from the hadith of Ata bin Abu Rabah, transmitting it in this manner. Bayhaqi also narrated it, 5/133, through the route of Dawud, transmitting it in this manner.The informant is the freedman of Asma, Abdullah bin Kaysan.
