The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to send the weaker members of his family ahead in the darkness before dawn, instructing them not to throw the pebbles at the Jamrah until the sun had risen.
حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة حدثنا الوليد بن عقبة حدثنا حمزة الزيات عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن عطاء
كان رسول الله ﷺ يقدم ضعفاء أهله بغلس ويأمرهم يعني لا يرمون الجمرة حتى تطلع الشمس
[Its chain is daif] Nasai reported it in Manasik Hajj, chapter on the prohibition against throwing at Jamra Uqba before sunrise, hadith 3067, from the hadith of Habib, with the same wording, and he used the ambiguous form "an" in transmission.
