Sulaym reported,

I traveled with Ibn Umar from Arafat to Muzdalifa, and he did not pause from the takbir and from declaring that there is no god but Allah until we arrived at Muzdalifa. There he gave the call to prayer and the call to begin it, or else he instructed a man who gave the call to prayer and the call to begin it, and he led us in Maghrib, three rakahs. Then he turned to us and said, "The prayer!" So he led us in Isha, two rakahs, and then called for his evening meal. The narrator said, Ilaj bin Amr also told me, "I saw Saeed bin Jubayr stop at Jam and pray Maghrib as three rakahs, then pray Isha as two rakahs."Then he said, "I witnessed Ibn Umar do exactly this in this place," and he said, "I witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do exactly this in this place."The narrator said, Ibn Umar was asked about that, and he replied, "This is how I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."
