The Prophet ﷺ used to enter Mecca from the upper mountain pass. They both narrated from Yahya that the Prophet ﷺ used to enter Mecca from Kada, from the mountain pass of al-Batha, and leave from the lower pass. Al-Barmaki added, "meaning the two mountain passes of Mecca." The narration of Musaddad is more complete.
حدثنا عبد الله بن جعفر البرمكي حدثنا معن عن مالك ح و حدثنا مسدد وابن حنبل عن يحيى ح و حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو أسامة جميعا عن عبيد الله عن نافع
أن النبي ﷺ كان يدخل مكة من الثنية العليا قالا عن يحيى إن النبي ﷺ كان يدخل مكة من كداء من ثنية البطحاء ويخرج من الثنية السفلى زاد البرمكي يعني ثنيتي مكة وحديث مسدد أتم
