Amr bin Maymun reported,

I heard Abu Hadir al-Himyari narrating to my father, Maymun bin Mihran. He said, "I set out to perform Umra during the year the people of Sham besieged Ibn Zubayr in Mecca, and some men of my tribe sent sacrificial animals along with me. When we reached the people of Sham, they prevented us from entering the Sanctuary, so I slaughtered the sacrificial animals where I was, then exited the state of ihram and returned home.The following year, I set out to make up my Umra. I came to Ibn Abbas and asked him about it.He said, "Replace the sacrificial animals, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded his companions to replace the sacrificial animals they had slaughtered in the year of Hudaybiya when they performed the make-up Umra."

عن عمرو بن ميمون قال

سمعت أبا حاضر الحميري يحدث أبي ميمون بن مهران قال خرجت معتمرا عام حاصر أهل الشام ابن الزبير بمكة وبعث معي رجال من قومي بهدي فلما انتهينا إلى أهل الشام منعونا أن ندخل الحرم فنحرت الهدي مكاني ثم أحللت ثم رجعت فلما كان من العام المقبل خرجت لأقضي عمرتي فأتيت ابن عباس فسألته فقال أبدل الهدي فإن رسول الله ﷺ أمر أصحابه أن يبدلوا الهدي الذي نحروا عام الحديبية في عمرة القضاء
