[Its chain is hasan] Bayhaqi (5/207) reported it from the hadith of Abu Dawud through this same route.Maymun bin Jaban was deemed reliable by Ajli, Ibn Hibban, and Dhahabi in al-Kashif, so his hadith does not fall below the level of hasan.
