Someone said, "Zayd bin Arqam, did you know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was once given the foreleg of a hunted animal as a gift, but he did not accept it and said, 'We are in a state of ihram'?"He replied, "Yes."
حدثنا أبو سلمة موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا حماد عن قيس عن عطاء
أنه قال يا زيد بن أرقم هل علمت أن رسول الله ﷺ أهدي إليه عضد صيد فلم يقبله وقال إنا حرم قال نعم
[Its isnad is sahih] Nasai narrated it in the Book of Hajj Rites, Chapter on What Is Not Permissible for the One in Ihram to Eat from Game, Hadith: 2823, from the hadith of Hammad bin Salama, with this chain, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, Hadith: 981.
