The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was cupped on the upper part of his foot while in a state of ihram, due to a pain he was suffering from.
حدثنا أحمد بن حنبل حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن قتادة
أن رسول الله ﷺ احتجم وهو محرم على ظهر القدم من وجع كان به
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Nasai narrated it in the book of the rites of Hajj, chapter on cupping the muhrim on the top of the foot, hadith: 2852, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq, with this same wording, and it is also found in Musnad Ahmad: 3/164. Qatada narrated with "an" (an indication of possible discontinuity), and it has a daif corroborating narration coming up, hadith: 3863.
