A man from among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ came to Umar bin Khattab and testified before him that he had heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, during the illness in which he passed away, forbidding performing Umra before Hajj.

أن رجلا من أصحاب النبي ﷺ أتى عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه فشهد عنده أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ في مرضه الذي قبض فيه ينهى عن العمرة قبل الحج
