The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions arrived on the fourth night of Dhul-Hijjah. After they had performed tawaf around the House and walked between Safa and Marwa, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Convert it into an Amra, except for those who have brought their sacrificial animals with them."When the Day of Tarwiyah came, they entered the state of ihram for Hajj. On the Day of Sacrifice, they came and performed tawaf around the House but did not walk between Safa and Marwa.
حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا حماد عن قيس بن سعد عن عطاء بن أبي رباح
قدم رسول الله ﷺ وأصحابه لأربع ليال خلون من ذي الحجة فلما طافوا بالبيت وبالصفا والمروة قال رسول الله ﷺ اجعلوها عمرة إلا من كان معه الهدي فلما كان يوم التروية أهلوا بالحج فلما كان يوم النحر قدموا فطافوا بالبيت ولم يطوفوا بين الصفا والمروة
