Uqba bin Amir reported,

Uqba bin Amir said, We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ serving ourselves, taking turns at tending to our camels. My turn to tend the camels came, and I brought them back in the evening, and I found the Messenger of Allah addressing the people. I heard him say, "There is not one of you who performs wudu and performs it well, then stands and prays two units of prayer, turning to them with his heart and his face, but that he has secured Paradise for himself."I said, "Excellent, excellent! How fine that is!"A man in front of me said, "Uqba, the one before it was finer still."I looked, and it was Umar bin Khattab. So I asked, "What was it, Abu Hafs?"Umar replied, "He said just now, before you came, 'There is not one of you who performs wudu and performs it well, then says when he finishes his wudu, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, who has no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, but that the eight gates of Paradise are opened for him, and he may enter through whichever of them he wishes.'"Muawiya said, Rabia bin Yazid also narrated this to me from Abu Idris, from Uqba bin Amir, but he did not mention the matter of tending the camels. At the point where he said "and performs the wudu well," he added, "then he raises his gaze to the sky and says," and he related the rest of the report with the same meaning as the report of Muawiya.

حدثنا الحسين بن عيسى حدثنا عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ عن حيوة وهو ابن شريح عن أبي عقيل عن ابن عمه عن عقبة بن عامر الجهني عن النبي ﷺ نحوه ولم يذكر أمر الرعاية قال عند قوله فأحسن الوضوء ثم رفع بصره إلى السماء فقال وساق الحديث بمعنى حديث معاوية
