The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Charity is not lawful for a wealthy person except in five cases. For one fighting in the cause of Allah, for one appointed to collect it, for one burdened with debt, for a man who purchases it with his own money, or for a man who has a poor neighbor to whom he gave charity and the poor person then offered it as a gift to the wealthy one."
حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة عن مالك عن زيد بن أسلم
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا تحل الصدقة لغني إلا لخمسة لغاز في سبيل الله أو لعامل عليها أو لغارم أو لرجل اشتراها بماله أو لرجل كان له جار مسكين فتصدق على المسكين فأهداها المسكين للغني
