The Prophet ﷺ said, "Charity is not lawful for a wealthy person, nor for one who is sound and able-bodied."
حدثنا عباد بن موسى الأنباري الختلي حدثنا إبراهيم يعني ابن سعد قال أخبرني أبي عن ريحان بن يزيد
عن النبي ﷺ قال لا تحل الصدقة لغني ولا لذي مرة سوي
[Its chain is hasan] Tirmidhi transmitted it in the Book of Zakat, Chapter on those to whom charity is not permissible, hadith 652, from the hadith of Saad bin Ibrahim, and he said, "Hasan."
