The Prophet ﷺ made the charity of Fitr obligatory, one saa of barley or dates, upon the young and the old, the free and the slave. Musa added, "the male and the female."
حدثنا مسدد أن يحيى بن سعيد وبشر بن المفضل حدثاهم عن عبيد الله ح و حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا أبان عن عبيد الله عن نافع
عن النبي ﷺ أنه فرض صدقة الفطر صاعا من شعير أو تمر على الصغير والكبير والحر والمملوك زاد موسى والذكر والأنثى
