The Messenger of Allah ﷺ preferred concise, comprehensive supplications and would leave aside others.
حدثنا هارون بن عبد الله حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن الأسود بن شيبان عن أبي نوفل
كان رسول الله ﷺ يستحب الجوامع من الدعاء ويدع ما سوى ذلك
[Its isnad is sahih] Ahmad narrated it in 6:148, 188 from the hadith of Aswad bin Shayban with this wording. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 2412, as did Hakim in 1:539, and Dhahabi concurred with him.
