I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of the conquest of Mecca, riding on his she-camel, reciting Surah al-Fath in a vibrating tone.
حدثنا حفص بن عمر حدثنا شعبة عن معاوية بن قرة
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يوم فتح مكة وهو على ناقة يقرأ بسورة الفتح وهو يرجع
Bukhari narrated it in Kitab al-Tawhid, chapter on the Prophet's mention and his narration from his Lord, hadith 7540, and Muslim narrated it in Salat al-Musafirin, chapter on the mention of the Prophet's recitation of Surah Fath on the day of the conquest of Makkah, hadith 794, from the hadith of Shubah, through this same chain.
