[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Tirmidhi narrated it in the chapter on Salah, in the section on hastening to perform Witr before dawn, hadith no. 467, from the hadith of Yahya bin Zakariya bin Abu Zaida with this chain, and he said, hasan sahih. It also has another route in Muslim, hadith no. 750, in his Sahih.
