The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform the witr prayer reciting "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High," "Say, to those who disbelieve," and "Say, He is Allah, the One, the Eternal."
حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو حفص الأبار ح و حدثنا إبراهيم بن موسى أخبرنا محمد بن أنس وهذا لفظه عن الأعمش عن طلحة وزبيد عن سعيد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبزى عن أبيه
كان رسول الله ﷺ يوتر بسبح اسم ربك الأعلى وقل للذين كفروا والله الواحد الصمد
[Sahih] Ibn Majah narrated it in Iqamat al-Salawat, chapter on what is recited in Witr, no. 1171, from Uthman bin Abu Shayba, through this route, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 676, 677. A group of narrators reported it from Zubayd through this route, and the hadith has corroborating narrations in Hakim, 1/305 and 2/520, and elsewhere.
