I asked Abu Masud while he was performing tawaf around the Kaaba, and he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice him.'"
حدثنا حفص بن عمر أخبرنا شعبة عن منصور عن إبراهيم
سألت أبا مسعود وهو يطوف بالبيت فقال قال رسول الله ﷺ من قرأ الآيتين من آخر سورة البقرة في ليلة كفتاه
Bukhari transmitted it in the Excellences of the Quran, chapter on the excellence of Surah Baqarah, hadith 5008, and Muslim in the Prayer of Travelers, chapter on the excellence of the Fatihah and the closing verses of Surah Baqarah etc., hadith 807, from the hadith of Shubah, through this same chain.
