The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to pray thirteen rakahs during the night. He would pray eight rakahs, then perform witr with a single rakah, and afterwards (Muslim's wording: after the witr) he would pray two rakahs while seated. When he wished to perform the bowing, he would stand up and bow. Then, between the call for the dawn prayer and its iqamah, he would pray two rakahs.
حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل ومسلم بن إبراهيم قالا حدثنا أبان عن يحيى عن أبي سلمة
أن نبي الله ﷺ كان يصلي من الليل ثلاث عشرة ركعة كان يصلي ثماني ركعات ويوتر بركعة ثم يصلي قال مسلم بعد الوتر ثم اتفقا ركعتين وهو قاعد فإذا أراد أن يركع قام فركع ويصلي بين أذان الفجر والإقامة ركعتين
Muslim narrated it in "Salat al-Musafirin," in the chapter "The Night Prayer and the Number of Rakahs Performed by the Prophet ﷺ at Night," etc., hadith no. 738, from the hadith of Yahya bin Abu Kathir through this route, and he explicitly stated hearing it.
