From the Prophet ﷺ with this same account, except that he did not mention it. He said to Abu Bakr, "Raise your voice a little," and to Umar, "Lower yours a little." He added, "I heard you, Bilal, reciting from this surah and that surah."Bilal replied, "They are good words which Allah the Exalted joins together, one part with another."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Each of you has done right."
حدثنا أبو حصين بن يحيى الرازي حدثنا أسباط بن محمد عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
عن النبي ﷺ بهذه القصة لم يذكر فقال لأبي بكر ارفع من صوتك شيئا ولعمر اخفض شيئا زاد وقد سمعتك يا بلال وأنت تقرأ من هذه السورة ومن هذه السورة قال كلام طيب يجمع الله تعالى بعضه إلى بعض فقال النبي ﷺ كلكم قد أصاب
