The Prophet ﷺ said, "The prayers of the night and day are in pairs of two."
حدثنا عمرو بن مرزوق أخبرنا شعبة عن يعلى بن عطاء عن علي بن عبد الله البارقي
عن النبي ﷺ قال صلاة الليل والنهار مثنى مثنى
[Hasan] Tirmidhi related it in Kitab al-Salah, chapter on what has been mentioned about night and day prayers being two by two, no. 597, Nasai, no. 1667, and Ibn Majah, no. 1322, from the hadith of Shubah through this route.
