The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Once the prayer has been called to begin, no prayer is to be performed except the obligatory one."

قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا أقيمت الصلاة فلا صلاة إلا المكتوبة
Muslim narrated it in the Book of the Prayer of Travelers, in the chapter on the undesirability of beginning an optional prayer after the muezzin has begun the call to establish the prayer, etc., hadith no. 710, from Ahmad bin Hanbal with this chain.
