He heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting in the two rakahs of Fajr, in the first rakah, "Say, we have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us" [Aal Imran 3:84], and in the second rakah this verse, "Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the Messenger, so register us among the witnesses" [Aal Imran 3:53], or "Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good tidings and a warner, and you will not be asked about the companions of Hellfire" [Baqarah 2:119]. Darawardi was uncertain which of the two.

[Its chain is daif] Bayhaqi narrated it, 2/43, from the hadith of Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Darawardi, with this wording, and part of the hadith has corroborating narrations.Uthman bin Umar bin Musa is a well-known judge. Ibn Hibban alone deemed him reliable, while Ibn Main and others considered him unknown, so he is majhul al-hal (of unknown status).
