Bilal reported,

Bilal narrated that he came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to call him for the dawn prayer, but Ayesha kept Bilal occupied with a matter she was asking him about until the morning grew bright upon him, so it became fully daylight.Bilal then stood and called the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for the prayer, and he repeated his call, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not come out. When he finally came out, he led the people in prayer.Bilal informed him that Ayesha had kept him occupied with something she was asking him about until it had become fully daylight, and that this was why he had been delayed in coming out to him.The Prophet ﷺ said, "I had been performing the two rakahs of Fajr."Bilal said, "Messenger of Allah, it had become fully daylight."He replied, "Even if it had become brighter than it was, I would still have prayed them, and prayed them well and beautifully."

عن بلال

أنه حدثه أنه أتى رسول الله ﷺ ليؤذنه بصلاة الغداة فشغلت عائشة رضي الله عنها بلالا بأمر سألته عنه حتى فضحه الصبح فأصبح جدا قال فقام بلال فآذنه بالصلاة وتابع أذانه فلم يخرج رسول الله ﷺ فلما خرج صلى بالناس وأخبره أن عائشة شغلته بأمر سألته عنه حتى أصبح جدا وأنه أبطأ عليه بالخروج فقال إني كنت ركعت ركعتي الفجر فقال يا رسول الله إنك أصبحت جدا قال لو أصبحت أكثر مما أصبحت لركعتهما وأحسنتهما وأجملتهما
