Ibn Shihab reported,

Abbad bin Tamim al-Mazini reported that he heard his uncle, who was one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out one day to pray for rain. He turned his back to the people and supplicated to Allah ."Sulayman bin Dawud added, "He faced the qiblah, turned his cloak around, then prayed two rakahs."Ibn Abu Dhib said, "And he recited in them."Ibn Sarh added, "Meaning aloud."

حدثنا ابن السرح وسليمان بن داود قالا أخبرنا ابن وهب قال أخبرني ابن أبي ذئب ويونس

عن ابن شهاب قال

أخبرني عباد بن تميم المازني أنه سمع عمه وكان من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ يقول خرج رسول الله ﷺ يوما يستسقي فحول إلى الناس ظهره يدعو الله عز وجل قال سليمان بن داود واستقبل القبلة وحول رداءه ثم صلى ركعتين قال ابن أبي ذئب وقرأ فيهما زاد ابن السرح يريد الجهر
