The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the Eid prayer without an adhan or iqamah, and so did Abu Bakr and Umar, or Uthman. Yahya was uncertain.
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا يحيى عن ابن جريج عن الحسن بن مسلم عن طاوس
أن رسول الله ﷺ صلى العيد بلا أذان ولا إقامة وأبا بكر وعمر أو عثمان شك يحيى
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Ibn Majah narrated it in Iqamat as-Salawat, chapter on what has been mentioned regarding the prayer of the two Eids, hadith no. 1274, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan, through this route Ibn Jurayj narrated with "an" without specifying direct hearing, and the hadith of Bukhari, no. 962, and Muslim, no. 885, serve in its place.
