I heard him say that the Prophet ﷺ stood up on the day of Eid al-Fitr and prayed, beginning with the prayer before the sermon. Then he addressed the people, and when the Prophet of Allah ﷺ had finished, he descended and went over to the women and reminded them, leaning on the hand of Bilal, while Bilal was holding out his garment for the women to toss their charity into. The narrator said, "A woman would toss in her ring, and they kept tossing them in, tossing them in."Ibn Bakr said, "her ring," using a different form of the word.
Bukhari narrated it in the book of Eids, chapter of the imam's exhortation to women on the day of Eid, no. 978, and Muslim in the prayer of the two Eids, chapter 1, no. 884, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq, and it is in his Musannaf, no. 5631, and Musnad Ahmad, 2/296.
