Abdullah bin Busr, the companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, went out with the people on the day of Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Adha. He disapproved of the imam's delay and said, "By this hour we would have already finished," and that was at the time of the forenoon prayer.

خرج عبد الله بن بسر صاحب رسول الله ﷺ مع الناس في يوم عيد فطر أو أضحى فأنكر إبطاء الإمام فقال إنا كنا قد فرغنا ساعتنا هذه وذلك حين التسبيح
Sourcing, its isnad is sahih. Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Establishing Prayers, Chapter on the Time of the Eid Prayers, no. 1317, from the hadith of Safwan by this route, and it is in the Musnad, Atraf Musnad 2/688, no. 3075. Hakim graded it sahih according to the standard of Bukhari, 12/295, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
