The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in his chamber while the people followed him in prayer from outside the chamber.
حدثنا زهير بن حرب حدثنا هشيم أخبرنا يحيى بن سعيد عن عمرة
صلى رسول الله ﷺ في حجرته والناس يأتمون به من وراء الحجرة
Bukhari narrated it, in the chapter "adhan, when there is a wall or barrier between the imam and the people," hadith no. 729, from the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed Ansari through this chain, at length. Ahmad also narrated it in 6/30, from Hushaym through this chain.
