We were with Abdullah bin Busr, a companion of the Prophet ﷺ, on a Friday when a man came stepping over people's necks.Abdullah bin Busr said, "A man came stepping over people's necks on a Friday while the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the sermon, and the Prophet ﷺ said to him, 'Sit down, for you have caused harm.'"
Its isnad is sahih. Nasai narrated it in "The Chapter on the Prohibition of Stepping Over People's Necks While the Imam Is on the Pulpit on Friday" from the hadith of Muawiya bin Salih, hadith no. 1400. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, hadith no. 1811, as did Ibn Hibban, hadith no. 572, and Hakim, who said it meets the criteria of Muslim, 1/288, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
