The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when delivering the tashahhud, would say, "Praise be to Allah. We seek His help and His forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our souls. Whomever Allah guides, none can lead astray, and whomever He leads astray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger, whom He sent with the truth as a Bashir of glad tidings and a warner before the Hour. Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has been rightly guided, and whoever disobeys them harms only himself and does no harm to Allah at all."
