The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever misses the Friday prayer without a valid excuse should give a Dinar in charity, and if he cannot find one, then half a Dinar."
حدثنا الحسن بن علي حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا همام حدثنا قتادة عن قدامة بن وبرة العجيفي
عن النبي ﷺ قال من ترك الجمعة من غير عذر فليتصدق بدينار فإن لم يجد فبنصف دينار
Its chain of transmission is daif. Nasai transmitted it, Friday Prayer, chapter on the atonement of one who misses Friday prayer without excuse, no. 1373, from the hadith of Yazid bin Harun with this chain, and Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, no. 1861, as did Ibn Hibban, no. 582, and Hakim, 1/180, and Dhahabi agreed with him.Qudama, his hearing from Samura was not established as sound, as Bukhari stated.Qatada was mentioned before, no. 29, and he narrated with an daif form of transmission (anana).The hadith has a corroborating narration that is also daif, found in Ibn Majah, no. 1128.
