The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever performs ablution well, then comes to the Friday prayer and listens attentively in silence, will be forgiven for what is between that Friday and the next, plus three additional days. And whoever touches the pebbles has engaged in idle conduct."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ من توضأ فأحسن الوضوء ثم أتى الجمعة فاستمع وأنصت غفر له ما بين الجمعة إلى الجمعة وزيادة ثلاثة أيام ومن مس الحصى فقد لغا
Muslim narrated it, Friday, chapter of the virtue of one who listens attentively and remains silent during the sermon, hadith no. 857, from the hadith of Abu Muawiya al-Darir, through this same chain, and he made clear that he heard it directly, according to Ibn Khuzayma, hadith no. 1756. The hadith has corroborating narrations.
