Mughira bin Shuba led us in prayer and stood up after the second rakah without sitting. We said, "Subhan Allah."He replied, "Subhan Allah," and continued. When he completed his prayer and gave the salam, he performed the two prostrations of forgetfulness. After finishing, he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do exactly as I have done."

[Hasan] Tirmidhi recorded it, in the Book of Prayer, chapter on what has been said about the imam rising for the two units of prayer forgetfully, h: 365, from the hadith of Yazid bin Harun with this same chain, and he said, hasan sahih, but its chain of transmission is daif. The hadith has many corroborating narrations in Tahawi's Sharh Maani al-Athar (1/440) and elsewhere.
