The emigrant may stay in Mecca for three days after completing his rites of pilgrimage.

Agreed upon by Bukhari and Muslim. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter on the permissibility of staying in Makkah, etc., hadith 1352, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, and Bukhari, hadith 3933, from the hadith of Abdul-Rahman bin Humayd, on his authority.
