Someone asked Ibn Umar in which month the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Umrah, and he replied, "In Rajab."Ayesha said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never performed Umrah except that he," meaning Ibn Umar, "was with him, and he never performed Umrah in the month of Rajab at all."
حدثنا أبو كريب حدثنا يحيى بن آدم عن أبي بكر بن عياش عن الأعمش عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن عروة قال سئل
في أي شهر اعتمر رسول الله ﷺ فقال في رجب فقالت عائشة ما اعتمر رسول الله ﷺ إلا وهو معه تعني ابن عمر وما اعتمر في شهر رجب قط
[Sahih]. Ibn Majah also narrated it in the Manasik chapter, Bab al-Umrah in Rajab, no. 2998, from Abu Kurayb with the same wording. Muslim narrated it, no. 1255, through the hadith of Urwa, and Bukhari, no. 1775, 1776, through the hadith of Ibn Umar with the same wording. See the following hadith.
