Ayesha reported,
I applied perfume containing musk to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ before he entered ihram, and on the day of sacrifice before he performed tawaf around the House.

عن عائشة قالت
طيبت رسول الله ﷺ قبل أن يحرم ويوم النحر قبل أن يطوف بالبيت بطيب فيه مسك
Agreed upon. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj, Chapter on the recommendation of applying perfume just before ihram on the body, etc, hadith no. 1191, from Ahmad bin Mani, and Bukhari in the Book of Hajj, Chapter on perfume at ihram, etc, hadith no. 1539, both from the hadith of Abdul-Rahman bin Qasim, through this chain.There is also a narration on this subject from Ibn Abbas [Ibn Majah, hadith no. 3041].And a report from Umar
