The Prophet ﷺ said, "When a dog licks from a vessel, it must be washed seven times, the first or the last with dust. When a cat licks from it, it is washed once."
[Sahih]. Abu Dawud also recorded it, no. 72, from the hadith of Mutamir, as a statement of the companion (mawquf). Muslim recorded it, no. 279, from the hadith of Ibn Sirin. Bukhari recorded it, no. 172, through another route from Abu Hurairah with the same wording. His statement, "and if a cat drinks from it, it should be washed once," is a statement of Abu Hurairah himself (mawquf), while the rest is a saying of the Prophet (marfu) and sahih. On this topic there is also a report from Abdullah bin Mughafal [Muslim, no. 280].
