The Prophet ﷺ said, "Is he not but a piece of him, a part of him?"
حدثنا هناد حدثنا ملازم بن عمرو عن عبد الله بن بدر
عن النبي ﷺ قال وهل هو إلا مضغة منه أو بضعة منه
[Its chain is sahih]. Nasai also related it in 1/101, hadith 165, Book of Purification, chapter on leaving wudu because of that, from Hannad bin Sari with the same wording. Fallas, Ibn Hibban, Tabarani and others graded it sahih, but it is an abrogated hadith. See Itibar by Hazimi and others.On this subject there is also a report from Abu Umama [Ibn Majah, hadith: 484].
