The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Jibreel came to me and commanded me to instruct my companions to raise their voices with the Ihlal and the Talbiyah."
حدثنا أحمد بن منيع حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عبد الله بن أبي بكر وهو ابن محمد بن عمرو بن حزم عن عبد الملك بن أبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن بن الحارث بن هشام
قال رسول الله ﷺ أتاني جبريل فأمرني أن آمر أصحابي أن يرفعوا أصواتهم بالإهلال والتلبية
[Its isnad is hasan]. Ibn Khuzayma also narrated it, no. 2595, from Abdullah bin Abu Ziyad, with the same wording. It has a corroborating witness in Hakim, 1/447, who graded it sahih according to the standard of the two Shaykhs, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
